Browsing at a book at Wynn Ferrari on Pinninfarina designed Ferraris lists a section called Super Exotic Ferraris, this is separate to production V12s such as Daytonas and 365GTC4s and other 12 cylinders and 8 cylinder Ferraris.

I was browsing through and wondering why the BB wasn't listed in the 12cylinder section but then I found a section called Super Exotic Ferraris and according to Pinninfarina these Ferraris are their super exotic designs, begins with 250LM, then 365BB and 512BB and BBi, the 3 Testarossa models, F40, F50 and Enzo, this puts both the BB and TR in good company with these other models, Pinninfarina would know. So much for plain Jane styling described of BBs by so called experts.

So what's the name of the book, and any idea where can it be bought? Might be a good addition to the library.

    Hows your BB running?

John the book was at the Wynn Ferrari giftshop, don't have their number but it was called Ferrari by Pinninfarina, it had a black cover

BB is running well, especiallly since i I changed the plugs out recently

Thanks Jeff, I'll do a search for it. And now being a super exotic should increase the value at least a 100K!
Amazing how these cars go through spark plugs! At least they're easy to change.

I believe the main number to the Wynn Hotel is 702 770 7000 they can transfer you to the gift shop, agree on the plugs once fouled cleaning doesn't seem to work, replacement is needed.

I think Pinninfarina has always regarded the BB as one of their great designs from looks to the engineering efforts of shoe horning that big flat 12 around the body, nice to see it grouped with the 250LM.

For starters, I agree that the BBs are a great example of Pininfarina's extraordinary work.

On a related note to your thread and at the risk of throwing gas on an open flame, I respectfully suggest that you consider not buying books from Wynn Ferrari. Buy them from someone who cultivates the next generation of Ferrari owners and enthusiasts. On my last visit to Vegas, I visited that dealership and could not believe what I had to do to gain admission. I brought two colleagues along and not only did I have to prove that I was a Ferrari owner to walk the showroom without paying $15 per head, only two people were allowed in on my "membership". I let the other guys take the two spots because that experience sickened me.

Perhaps they only want current customers in their dealership. However, rest assured my love of Ferraris was cultivated by the dealership in my home town growing up. The owner of Gentry Lane Ferrari treated me like a future Ferrari owner from the age of 14 onward and I suggest they follow that lead. Ferrari NA should step up and stop Wynn Ferrari from charging admission - it's just wrong. If they need to control foot traffic, there are more sensible ways to do so.

OK, I'm off my soap box - pelt away.

i have a similar childhood story ...chinetti's in greenwich, ct. i have heard similar stories of wynn's dealership and enough similar talk makes you wonder if there really is a problem w/ wynn?

i do not blame you for holding your position!
