Anyone have clear labels of the pinouts from the various lower harness connectors for the Fuse board on a 512TR?

I don't have a complete publishable one (but do have some scribbled notes painfully deciphered from the terrible 512TR WSM schematics), but are you having a problem with a particular wire, a particular problem, looking for a place to "steal" +12V power, or something else?

I'm looking for cooling fans, fuel pump feeds, and other high current circuits. I've got two "heated" wires which I believe are the cooling fans, so trying to diagnose if this could also be causing a random intermittent electronics issue with LH fuel pump.

LH fuel pump = Large (1.5mm) MN (brown-black) wire in E connector pin 8

RH fuel pump = Large (1.5mm) M (brown) wire in E connector pin 4

LH water fan = Very Large (2.5mm) LN (blue-black) wire in F connector pin 6

RH water fan = Very Large (2.5mm) L (blue) wire in F connector pin 8

Hopefully, Qavion (Ian Riddell) will see your thread (or you might send him a PM conversation), and has made better 512TR schematics.

If you'd like to measure the current in those wires, you can use something like this "Fuse Buddy" to measure the current by inserting it into the appropriate fuse location to see if it's excessive or not (or different for the LH device vs the RH device):

    https://www.amazon.com/esi-306b-fuse-buddy-tester/dp/b0014ddk5o?tag=namespacebran246-20

Those wires may run a little warm because even the correct nominal current is kind of large and connections are not always perfect -- so you can get some significant I^2*R heating at the connection that then gets conducted into the wire and into the PCB trace (and a very small resistance, even just something like .02 Ohms, at those connections doesn't prevent the corresponding device from working, but it makes a boatload of heat because the current is large).

Yes - I think eventually I'm destined for one of the upgraded fuse-boxes (just for good housekeeping). I have the diagrams from the WSM but I have no key for all the various number components and it's almost impossible to trace multi-page diagrams that have 5,000 exit paths from one page to the next.

Much appreciated Steve, it's great to have helpful knowledgable people who work on the cars on the forum!

This link will get you a copy of useful page L32 (I got from Mel) with the various number components (that, wrongly, isn't in the 512TR WSM pdf):

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/ynom1r9swaia32j/L32.pdf?dl=0

but your head will still explode trying to read those cut-up schematics ;)
