The small aluminum pipe union on this manifold is an obvious part to replace when doing a tear down of the engine. It gets corroded on even the freshest of engines.

It was fun to get the old one off, but no problem.

What tool / manner is best to get the thing back on?

    Thanks in advance!

A pipe wrench, or Channel Locks.

Maybe apply some thread sealant to help prevent galvanic corrosion?

I thought you could use the "double nut" method to tighten the union, but then I realised all the thread goes inside.

Looking at the Loctite catalogue... maybe Loctite 243?

Medium hold (no special tools required), temperature resistant to 360F, anti-corrosion, sealing, 1/4" up to to 3/4" diameter.
