Wow. I’ve never seen those and in theory or words, doesn’t sound like something I would like… BUT, those look really nice! Hmmmm interesting. Those red ones would tie in nice on my black car with red interior and calipers etc… hmmmmmm

Those would look sick on a F8 or 488 i'd love to see an example of someone running these!

I see they have the soft (red), medium (yellow), and hard (white) compounds. Not sure what the gray ones are.

It would be cool if the colors meant something relevant to the compounds, but they would probably not sell many Softs as they don't even last an entire lap...

According to thx Enzo’s post above, he’s saying exactly that. It DOES relate to compounds. But I think that’s a negative, I’d rather have the color of choice in whatever stickiness you desire.

The color in these "Color Edition" street tires is merely a cosmetic choice: it has nothing to do with compound like in the case of Formula 1 tires.

Pirelli introduced this concept many years ago. Some small-volume manufacturers (e.g. Pagani) offered these, but the uptake wasn't great. The extra cost was unreasonable and the color didn't age well: the oils in the rubber mix with grime and the initial pop of color when the tire is new deteriorates quickly.

Ferrari is offering them again, at least through Tailor Made, for certain cars such as the 812 Competizione Aperta.

The grey is just the white after driving a while.

They have been around since 2017. I cannot find anywhere to buy them.
