    Hey,

    Scanning Autosport for any news on the great Sebby-V fuel scandal turned up the following - Talk about a no win situation;

    So, early in the season they were slammed for making it a lottery. Now they're being slammed for "allowing" one-stoppers with tires that last too long........

    As he notes, "can't please everyone all the time."

    Cheers,
    Ian

    You monkey around with the rules you don't get to be surprised by the results.

    With all due respect, no rules were monkeyed with..... They were asked (by the teams) to make tires that fall apart - They did, and many whined that 7 winners in 7 races was making the whole thing a joke.

    They stuck with the compounds (not allowed to change during the season) and the engineers seem to have figured 'em out. Now, they're being lambasted for how long they last......

    Cheers,
    Ian

    The rules were a joke to begin with then.

    My point is that if you go altering things you don't always (ever?) get the desired result.
