I have been ringing around locally for prices on 255/45/Z17 p-zeroA for my 348 (just got new mot ready for selling but advised rear tyres) and have been quoted £152 inc vat/balance each - how does this price compare to any bought recently by anyone?

I bought the last ones in July 04 for almost the same price but got a good deal from Kwik-Fit as sets of 4 Pirelli tyres were on a 25% off deal(£487 for 4!).

    Pete.

Pete thats quite a good price, I'm currently being charges £145 ea, and get a decent bulk discount.
If you went for Michelins you'd be almost £200 each :(

I'm just doing the same exercise for 295/35 ZR18 (on advisory)
Have been offered £235 ea fitted for P zero in W Mids which is best find so far

Been offered Kumo at £175 "Y" rated - very unsure about these and exactly what the speed ratings mean
    eg http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyrspeed.html

Somewhat ambiguous regarding things circa 300kph

Be interested if anyone has advice on either subject
