I am looking to get a set of Perelli Trofeo R for my Scuderia. Has anyone been able to source a set of these here in the US? If so how can I get a set. What size set up should I use?

I am pretty sure that the car will become a dog with 305 fronts and 245 rears...

I would recommend staying with the 295 on the rear and trying the front to 245 as you have said. That combo, along with some alignment changes will help reduce understeer, which is one of the bigger problems in a street OEM Scud.
The 245's will likely rub at extreme steering angles on the OEM Scud wheels, especially if you have lowered the car from factory settings.

Trofeo R are around 2 secs slower than Hoosier R6 at RA and they last 20 HC (just a little more than R6 at 16 HC), but you can drive Trofeo R on the streets (at the expense of one HC per one-way trip on hot weather, or highway driving), while R6 on streets are No-No.

245/35/19 on the fronts will have rubbing issues?? I'm not aware of that... I just got the tires today... so I cant put on spacers anymore? even 5mm?

If you look on the pirelli site the spec of the trofeo r

the 295/30 19 tyre should be a little taller than the 305/30 19 even if it should be the opposite so if you are fitting them on the std wheels maybe the 295 would fit better

Here are the overall diameter sizes:
    *285/35/19: 26.8"
    *295/30/19: 26"
    *305/30/19: 26.3"

These are Trofeo R sizes, so 305/30/19 is the closest diameter compared to the oem wheels not 295/30/19. So the 295 is .8" undersize already and not a little taller than the 305s.

Why not do the stock sizes on the scud with the trofeo r?

If I remember correctly, a 245 on the front of a lowered Scud will rub when the spring is compressed hard and wheel turned . You may never experience it on the street, but it will likely happen on the track.

If you add a spacer with a 245, then you will rub on a factory height car.

Combining a spacer, 245, and lowering the car is probably going to create problems.

Since you have the tires and spacers, why not bolt them on and then determine the clearances? You will need to fully load a front tire to the bump stop and then turn full left and full right to see if anything touches or rubs. Please take pics and post so we can know for sure.

    Good luck!

Okay will post pictures when I get my tires... Bob woodman said they will have the 305s in 2-3weeks from now, I paid for everything already so I'll just wait for them. My stock tires are still very new since the car only have 2,000 miles. I did't get any spacers yet thats why i've been asking people here what size to get... if there's rubbing issues on the 245 already, then I wont get any spacers and wait for the tires first.. very weird, I saw a post here with 10mm spacers in front with no rubbing issues. I don't think the 235 and 245 have more than 10mm difference.
