This week took my 2020 Pista in for the normal service and factory power warranty extension (ouch). They completed campaign 80 (brake reservoir cap & software upgrade) In so far as campaign 499, I was advised that Ferrari pulled the campaign because the software upgrade had some bugs. This was written into the service report with some typos: Question…what was the intent of this campaign if anyone knows?

Heard is something about upgrading the system in all keyless Ferrari due some stolen keyless Ferrari thief’s using hacks to open and start the car

Would have gone for the full factory warrantee not the power warrantee. Massive difference.

That’s what I meant full factory warranty ,with inspection fees 13k and change for the remaining two years. It went up by 1k from last year.

Do y’all really feel that your Pista will have some massive failure that’s more than 13k in 2yrs? Avg Pista seems to be driven 1k miles or less a year.

Although I agree partially, I did have a rear shock leak which they covered and replaced. Never opted for extended warranty on my past F cars. With all the poor electronically driven systems these cars have now days I sleep better at night. After all what is 13k on a 500k car.

  7. I don't know.

But part of my analysis is I don't really have an indie shop around me for Ferraris that I trust. So if I did have after warranty items to serivce, I'd probably be forced to pay dealership prices.

With the extended warranty, I don't have to worry about it.

That alone is worth the price of admission. At least for me, it is.
