Too funny, same height, and I am also a Philip! My SA said that the Titanium exhaust tips were a better match for the dark grey wheels. Do you concur? The only Pista I have seen in the flesh was at one of the local SF Bay area dealerships and it had a leather interior. I was surprised since I really didn't expect someone to divert from the ethos of the car. When I inquired about that choice, I was again surprised to learn that some folks here in the US prefer the leather. Do you see any of that in your region? Also, I asked about owners tracking their cars and was told only about 50% will track their's. Is that about the same in your region as well? I for one, will track it for sure since there is really no other way to experience the true marvel of the engineering. My comparison will be to my 720s and GT2RS. BTW I love your characterization of the 720s and "clinical efficacy". I love both the cars but thought the Pista would complete the trifecta! So if it is a Porsche club event I take the GT2RS, if McLaren I take the 720s and if Ferrari take the Pista. No more having to run with Miatas in the general HPDE events.
Right ! I have Titanium exhaust tips ! IMHO the best choice ! In Europe, especially in France, There are very few Pista with leather It’s not easy to know who tracking Pista : 50 % is a possible ratio If you track Pista, that can reduce the value so few owners communicate on their use It’s a track toy so enjoy ! I would be at Le Mans in a week and Magny-Cours in a month
Truthfully, I don't care about the next guy/girl. Life is too short. Buy and use it the way you want to. People around here who don't drive on track are flat out dangerous on the side roads and highways, since that is only where they can speed. 90 miles an hour on an on ramp, really! Grow a pair and go to the track! And yes, if you want to be quiet about it, fine. I have seen people cover up their license plate when going to the track. Yeah, okay, fine as well.
damn the Pista is amazing! Thanks for all the high quality pics, can't remember the last time I got such a urge to buy a new car since I saw the Pista and the F8, there is something with the F-cars that just tickles the senses in a unique way Would love to see the Pista and F8 side by side to compare the design differences
