Keep in mind your dealer likely made the same incorrect assumptions and mistakes on the first batch of their cars ordered, expect 1-2 more cars to show up at your dealer with the same issues.

When we see their vehicle stickers on the resale market, we'll know where you bought your car from! Dealer really should've worked with you, what a shame.

It's a ploy - first to earn a higher margin with extra options then if the customer is not happy
They offer to order a replacement Pista therefore earn another allocation for a VIP
In the meantime sell the rejected car for 50-100k over o_O there's more than one way to skin a cat

Then the customer loses the benefit of an early delivery with no chance to flip or show off what no one else has. By the time the replacement arrives the newer 488 model has been announced and the shine is off the Pista. Not seeing how this benefits anyone, including the dealer who is stuck selling a badly configured Pista.

Well, it's not what the buyer wanted and the dealer then has to test the market for the car. That hasn't worked out on over spec'd 488 Spiders of which there were a lot ordered for customers at the behest of the salesman equipping the car for "resale". I watched a lot of those $400k Spiders go without buyers and I suspect the same thing is happening with the 812. Pista isn't that special.

I am honestly sorry for those of you who have developed such a negative outlook towards something that should be a passion...and creative outlet.

If Ferrari is no longer for you...move on. As many others have stated there are other fish in the sea. Don't spend your incredibly valuable and limited time complaining..(and trying to get others to pile on). What is your point? You think anything will change? It won't.

Please understand, I get it. I truly do. I understand how some of you feel. I get why you feel (almost betrayed) by Ferrari changing the rules and increasing prices. Do you think that will change? You think they will lower prices and increase production so that the consumer is in control? They won't. Ever. They never have. Ferrari is perhaps the most desirable brand of anything made in the world.

Go find another brand that it more in line with your expectations. We are truly in the golden age of amazing cars. You have many options.
