Just got word my STO is getting to port any day - should be at dealer within 1-2 weeks max. Akrapovic exhaust going on as well at Lambo logo door lights. So much for a heads up these days, lol. I never even got a "completed" pic on the app from Lamborghini, or any kind of update. Oh well, i'll take it!

My STO arrived today. I hope to take delivery on Sat, but I will have to dodge salty roads and snow storms in order to do so. We’ll see if weather permits.

Congrats! What are you hoping to accomplish with the Akrapovic exhaust? This car is already very loud above 4,500 RPM, but relatively quiet below that.

To each their own, but not for me. Even stock, it screams above 7,000, and many tracks limit the noise decibels.

I’m perplexed by Lamborghini’s thinking here. Complaints of an exhaust sound that is too submissive below 4,500, but may get you black flagged at the track due to noise up top.

P.S. you haven’t lived until you’ve been black flagged. I received one at Sebring on Sunday, a story for another day (in the 458, not the STO). It was the instructor’s fault, I swear, lol!

I like the sound and look of Akrapovic, my Turbo S is getting the same treatment. I know stock is plenty good but wanted that extra bump/sound.

My SVJ will be getting a Ryft race exhaust soon and my Urus has catless Ryft d/p w/ Stage 2 tune, again sound is ok stock but needed more for a Lamborghini. I know its not for everyone and why spend money on something that's not really necessary but I guess I cant help myself, lol.

I also don't track my cars(don't kill me on this my friends do already), so not worried about any issues there.

Love the blues! Porsche looks stout. Would love to “hear” your feedback on the exhaust note once you get it. I have a 991.2tts which is a lovely car that I put a Kline exhaust and headers on and it didn’t do too much for me but I didn’t change the cats which I think really hurt the sound quality. Enjoy the journey!

I purchased a Performante from the same dealer when they first came out. I owned it for 3.5 years before deciding to replace it with an STO. I absolutely loved it, and as soon as it was gone, I deeply regretted letting it go. Last spring, I put it towards a Pista, and then waited impatiently for the STO to finally arrive.

The visibility is awful, but the wail of the NA V10 engine makes it all worthwhile.

Some advice from a fellow STO owner……hold onto this one…..and take the time to drive it, too.

I continue to be impressed by its capabilities, and have gotten over the lack of rear visibility.

Gorgeous spec, btw! Love that stripe!

A nice POV video in the STO. I really hope they retain the NA V10 for the Huracan replacement.

It was reported by CAR magazine but I was mistaken, as it wasn't a direct quote by Lamborghini.

I believe most are speculating a V8TT but my instincts tell me they’ll use a hybridized NA V10 with all the latest clean technologies thrown at it. Same goes for the V12 in the Aventador replacement.

The Aventador will have a new N/A V12. Let's wait and see about the Huracan.

Source? How can you be certain about the Aventador after retracting the Huracan?

Clean is no longer the issue, it’s CO2 and efficiency. Displacement will need to go southward, and with that, number of cylinders. I’m skeptical.
