Hello, If anyone has experiencing tuning a 488 Pista, and/or has a good relationship with a professional and reliable Ferrari tuner with tons of experience on these engines in the 488 platform, please DM or post the info. I'd appreciate it. Thank you
I know of some Pista owners looking to modify their exhausts, and this requires a tune to keep the CEL off, amongst power gains and all the usual things a tune does.
You could also use a Capristo obd wizard, deleting any cat related codes that come up. Obviously this is not going to provide gains in power as it is not a tune.
absolutely a great option. and prob the least expensive along with no risk regarding changing any of the mapping and engine management.
I know Boden Autohaus based in Cali, offers their own pista tune. They are very reputable shop geared towards high end cars. Here is a video of Shmee driving one of Boden's tuned pista.
My warranty is up in a month, and I am thinking about adding sport cats. Considering tune or deleter for the CEL, but curious as to what people have done.
I'm running boden's titanium exhaust with their 200 cell cats. Did get a cel after 100 miles. Plugged in capristo's obd wizard and cel gone now and all good
I honestly couldn't tell you. I have the FI Exhaust on mine and I'm not sure which downpipes the previous owner opted for. I haven't had any problems. They will disable the CEL if you ask them to.
I believe so. I've seen couple california, 599, and few 458s. Just traded my aventador s roadster for pista.
anyone out there with a 488 (Pista or not) that's running catless? would love to hear about your sound and experience with this setup. thanks
I’m not, but go every year to the Mauna Kea. Play some golf and DREAM of having my car there with me on those beautiful roads.
Another vote for the Mase Engineering tune. I'm running the sport cats(200 cell) with their tune on my Pista. Huge difference in power and sound.
