If you track the GTE it will shake and will be comically slow compared to an SF71H. The GTE is not a dedicated weapon, just a low level racing version of a road car.

You get the point I guess. ;)

Actually you’re quite wrong. A 488 GTE is not a 488 challenge. It’s a real Race car! If you raced you would know that.
Even a friend of mine that has GTE and an F1 says that.

It still cannot compare to a purpose built monoposto. The point is that comparing a road car to a race car is as pointless as comparing a race car to an F1 car. If anything, the F1 car is way above and beyond of a GTE race car, than a GTE car is compared to the road car it is based on; at least based on pure pace. A Pista is not a race car, we all know that, but its remit includes tracking. To that end, the coupe is the much better option and that is what Newjoint alluded to.

You said that the GTE is not a dedicated weapon, it is! It’s a race car, end of story. An F1 is also a race car albeit the most extreme of them all.
My friend loses/wins races depending on the setup his car has and that is based in a lot of testing and a mechanical and technical team behind. There’s nothing to set in a pista!

    That figure is surprisingly low...
With 20% VAT the french price for the Pist (not spider) a is €318K.
Has the Pista spider been exempted from the expensive mandatory carbon option that inflated the price of the Pista berlinetta?
