According to my dealer, the Coupe are done in production and Spider production is delayed until around September due to COVID-19 related production stop some months ago.
Well Austin has one with delivery miles and it's offered almost 10% below MSRP. It's the car of the week and they say the MSRP was $482k and they are asking $450k. https://austin.ferraridealers.com/en_us/search-used-ferrari/2019/ferrari/488_pista/2019_ferrari_488_pista-ferrari_of_austin-ZFF90HLA3K0245177
Seems like Rosso Fiorano is a polarizing shade of red. I just paid full sticker for my Rosso Corsa car but I wouldn’t pay $100k less for a Fiorano car because I don’t like the color.
Didn’t see pics on the site; normally a dealer will not discount a delivery mile Pista that much unless it’s consigned to them.
It is a 2019 and has been titled. So yes definitely below MSRP however $482k is a high Spec that people won’t pay for especially if the colour is not what they want. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I am perplexed at cars like that one. It was owned for 14 months and has 28 miles on it (since delivery) What was the point on owning it for 14 months, not driving it and taking a loss?? Get out there, drive it and enjoy it. Life’s too short.
I agree but maybe the owner just wasn't able to drive it or it could have been an owner that has a lot of cars and this one didn't get driven for one reason or another. The car was delivered over a year ago, should have had more than delivery miles.
You will see many such cases here in South Florida; owners with multiple residents who rarely live in them, let alone have the time to drive their cars. Money is fungible to them.
Agree, likely he speculated price would hold or go up. Surprised Pistas are dropping in price this quickly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Don’t forget the car is coming up on being 2 years old, so i think it held up pretty well so far. Let’s see what happens now that more f8 are being delivered.
Speaking of surprised, I was surprised to see a comment on a different thread from our beloved day355 saying they made 6k Pistas (including Spider) FWIW
I don’t see any speculation at all. Why would he ordered $30k+ paint, Apple car play, hi-fi sound, front camera, Daytona seat. Those $40k+ were gone when the car is out the door. My best guess is he just don’t have time to drive for some reason, so he decide to just sell it. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Very possible. I just sold two cars for that reason but kept the Pista. I finally drove it after a couple of months and it did not disappoint Cant wait for my Kline exhaust.
Mine would definitely sell for over. I mean, look at it...oh, except for the fact that I drive the heck out of it.
Sounds like a lot, I remember the dealers all peddling them as limited this and limited that, then they produce 6k, I'm coming to the conclusion the dealer should always be kept a arms length
It may be a lot it may be a little, but the # of cars produced doesnt diminish the enjoyment of the cars by owners. But more importantly, this is a lesson that if you dont get that coveted allocation for a new build, dont panic. There will be tons of cars available after the fact. (Im looking at you Porsche dealer idiots with your ADM games). There is zero reason today to pay over msrp for a car, no matter how coveted the car may be because very quickly it will become yesterdays news.
I know but I have been out of town for much of the summer and the Pista doesn't have enough utility/room as the F12 which I need.
