Great spec. I would think about whether you want to pay for the carbon A-pillars and T section of the canopy structure. The central roof panels (glass on 720) will be gloss black so you’d have a mix of carbon and black paint. I opted to keep it all paint so that the entire roof canopy is a single finish. I splurged on my Senna and made the entire thing in carbon. Actually, my Senna is one of the very few I’ve seen with the roof glass delete in favour of carbon.

Thanks, hopefully the in store configurator is better than the website bc the website isn’t great. I just chose Carbon pack 2 and the roof became carbon, I’d have to go back and forth to see if there’s an actual cost savings by doing it piecemeal. I was able to find some nice YouTube videos of cirrus grey cars and there’s a fair anount of light blue in the undertones of the white that will go really well with the calipers. I appreciate the heads up on that.

Thanks, the dealer seems positive on an allocation. Who knows. They won’t have my money long if it falls through so I can’t see them having economic reasons to have me spec a car.

I have Senna seats in my 600 LT. I did a rally in the Ozark mountains 3 weeks ago. All total about 1500 miles in 6 days. Seats were very comfortable and supportive the whole time and did not leave me wanting.

FWIW, I was shocked by how comfortable the Senna seats were when I sat in the 765LT. I’m 6’6” 260lbs and I don’t recall ever being so comfortable in any super car. The seating position and visibility are top notch also.

FWIW - got the call today to send in my build. Won’t be on the line till Feb, with April delivery. Reminder to tick the “touring” selection for the Senna seats. It’s analogous to “Large” for Ferrari racing seats, which nearly everyone specs.
I got a walk thru of the 765LT scoop, decided to pass given how odd it looks so far back past the roof.

There have been 765 orders cancelled. You have a decent chance of getting an allocation.

I heard there were some early cancellations but demand is currently strong. Are you still ordering one?

and I’m saying what makes you say there are cancellations as voluminous as of the number of to be produced cars?

EDIT: sorry, I misread your original post. I thought it read there have been 765 (as in that amount) order cancellations. I blame Mclarens idiotic naming system.

    LOL, thats a good one!
I too think you can get one. Pista was the same....”sold out” but several of us got one still.
The car I am really waiting for is the STO, the Performante replacement in a few years. Drool.

Isn’t the STO just a RWD performante with extra aero?

    “Just” a RWD with aero.

I’m sure they’ll up the power a little and tune the suspension accordingly. In any case, I expect the most significant change vs. the performante will be the RWD and styling/aero with a large dorsal fin (and snorkel?) akin to the Super Trofeo Evo.

My biggest wish is for widened bodywork to really set it apart from other Huracans. Adding a fin and larger rear wing to the standard ‘narrow body’ Huracan will look off in my opinion.

I could see you misreading that. Thank goodness for McLaren that was not the case. Some cancellations have happened for various reasons but not many.

    Sorry for the late reply.

    Yes Chris was skeptical.

    Here is the other review I way actually referring to;

“A Good Car, but not a great Car”

“Third of the LT range and not the Best”

May the Horse be with you
