Thanks to the members here I have a car now getting a PPI done and if everything goes well I will be buying it! The only thing I do want to do to it is change the color or the brake calipers. They are black now and I would like them to be yellow. I will need to remove the calipers myself and mail them somewhere to have the work done. I want it to be as good as factory, so what place would be the best place to send them for a proper paint strip, repaint (with paint that can withstand the heat), and reapply the Ferrari logos exactly how they are from the factory, then clear coat? Again, all done correct.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Mike, to bad you didn't want red calipers as I have some for sale reasonable. Anyway I painted mine myself.I did My maserati years ago and now my f430. I used basecoat clearcoat and it will last forever. I have a bunch of Ferrari logos i can part with some. Ill be back in florida next week if u want to reach out to me.

Very good info. Where did everyone get the decals? Did the shop apply clear coat after putting on the decals?

You can get the decals on ebay. I have a bunch if needed. Yes clearcoat is needed after putting on the decals.

What part of Texas are you located?

We have Stuart's Paint & Body in Plano Tx do ours, OEM colors, or paint to sample. And most importantly, they have the correct decals!

PMB Performance in Sandy, UT, 855-786-7101. They are THE brake people IMHO. They completely rebuilt and refinished the calipers for my Porsche 356 back in '15. Last year they rebuilt the calipers on my 360 and did a color change from silver to red, $1048. including shipping. The end result was perfection, as before. The Ferrari logos are indistinguishable from factory original. Reasonable turnaround time of about 5 weeks.

I realized I never replied to anyone in this thread for some odd reason. Thanks everyone. I contacted PMB about a full rebuild and color change. You all are awesome!

Don't forget, the F is always on top :)

Saw a 458 in the local Ferrari dealership showroom and the logos were upside down on half the car.
