I'm going with the outside bet here: 1. Kimi 2. Massa 3. Alonso loses time with the oversteer and the light fuel, giving Massa a chance to pass in the pits. 4. Heidfeld holds off a shaky Hamilton. 5. Hamilton
I disagree. Hamilton will get the okay to race, but he will not be on the podium. 1.Kimi 2.Massa 3.Alonso 4.Heidi 5.Lewis 6.Kubica 7.Heikki 8.Trulli
+1, my thoughts exactly. Heidfeld will be tough to get around... Although I would have liked to see 10 in a row for LH.
1. Raikkonen 2. Massa 3. Heidfeld 4. Kubica 5. Heidfeld 6. Kovalainen 7. Trulli 8. Ralphie 9. Alonso 10. Hamilton Ok Ok maybe just wishful thinking (This is after all a Ferrari site) GO FERRARI!
Where will Hamilton start. They have to take the spare car. Does that now qualify for an engine change and put him in the back of the field? If that is the case he will not be in the top 5. Especially not with a chassis that he has not run at the Ring all weekend. My prediction: Kimi Massa Alonso (and I hate to put the Hobbit there)
I don't believe it would be wise to allow Lewis to race. He wasn't exactly moving around as quickly as his namesake when he climbed out. I believe for safety's sake he should watch the race from Mclaren's upper deck and reflect on how fortunate he is to be able to return to battle in a fortnight. He can afford to lose a few points and this would be the one, a race he'd have to drive through the peloton with a migraine. Prediction; Phil and Al do the tango resulting with a podium of 1. Kim 2. Nick 3. Kubica
If Lewis can get on the podium from 10th with a rebuilt chassis and setup he hasn't touched before the race, he probably deserves to win the WDC. On the other hand, how many of the top ten will turn one take out? Alonso and Massa may have an "interesting" moment at that corner. Unless Kimi still has his "remote off" switch for Phil's car.
