Good morning everyone. Does anyone have any recommendations on a place to watch the race this weekend in/around East Hampton? Thanks much and hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend!

That's a tough one. You might try Rowdy Hall on Main St., right at the top of and across from Newtown Lane. It's been a long time since I've been in there so I'm not even sure that they have TV screens.

Otherwise, maybe try some of the places out in Montauk?

PS Maybe call Driver's Seat in Southampton and see if they can show the race. It's a hike from EH, though.

+1 for Rowdy Hall...Also give Citta Nuova on Newtown lane. Indian Wells Tavern on 27 in Amagansett, or The Corner Bar in Sag Harbor a shot

Thanks much for the suggestions gents. Citta Nuova was my first thought as well, but they aren't opening early nor is Indian Wells. Sounds like it will be on at both during the noon replay, but checking with Dermot at Rowdy Hall tomorrow to see if they might be showing the live broadcast.

    Thanks again,

The Old Stone Boys Club in bridgehamtom if they are open. Private club of car guys Google it. Bring some treats and drinks, great guys. Say high to Anthony or Emil.

This could be a real good idea.

Not sure if they have TVs but Pierre's in Bridgehapton is open early and, as a proud Frenchman, Pierre likely has an affinity for his Monagasque neighbors :). Plus he's a pain the a&& which will make it really feel like you're on the Riviera, except no Romanian hookers so maybe not so much...just kidding.

The Old Stone guys will definitely be all over it as indicated above. They are rt 27 and Watermill just east of the Hamptons Coffee Co and across the road, I.e. On the north side of rt 27 next to the mobil station.

You may see me....argento f430 spider.

So, tell us, did you ever find a place to watch the race on Sunday?

I couldn't find any listings as to what time it was on and what channel. So I missed it. Citta Nuova has three TV's at the bar. Would have been perfect.

The race started at 8 a.m. ET so finding places with TVs that are open at that time of day can be challenging.

The Canadian GP in two weeks will be run in the early afternoon and maybe the chances will be better out there for viewing that race.
