    This part seems weird, based on the picture:

    "AIRCRAFT STRUCK A BUILDING AND CRASHED OFF THE SIDE THE RUNWAY WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LAND AND CAUGHT ON FIRE, BURNSVILLE, NC."

    Everything I hear locally confirms the building was burning, but? How did the aircraft get lodged in the trees like that? It isn't like it hit a TALL building, and then plummeted into trees... Haven't spent much time up there, so my first & only guess is that there is a steep dropoff... More familiar with trucks plunging into the woods, going down the mountain.

    Sounds like different accidents. If it was a Cirrus, explains how it ended up in the trees pretty much intact.
