coming home today saw that adelaide now has a starbucks ..... prior to now it's been only something i've heard in septic movies, along with like taco bell, dunkin donuts and disneyland. Fight Club: "When deep space exploration ramps up, it'll be the corporations that name everything, the IBM Stellar Sphere... the Microsoft Galaxy... Planet Starbucks...." oddly enough, i have some weird level of respect for Hungry Jacks, they're likely as crappy as mcdonalds, but they called themselves something different for the aussie market so i don't feel so idiot-american going there. i am Jack's coffee-induced-seeping-anus.
We (my brother and I) got addicted to Starbucks when we were in Canada (Vancouver/Whistler) in 2004, went there a number of times each day for 3-4weeks.....something to do with the cold weather I think. If/when it gets to Perth I doubt I'll have the same passion for it..
it's in Rundle Mall. starbucks AND ikea both in the same year. sadelaide is really jumping at the moment.
you guys will even get the internet soon, then you'll know all about it do you guys have traffic lights and TV ????
"oooh, they've got the internet on computers now" - Homer Simpson (so we must have TV - hopefully soon it wont just be in black and white...)
by not having the internet we eliminate people like PP and FF, but we do have VM (when he gets parole tri weekly)
