I am looking for a little bit of advice. I, along with two other Ferrari owners (355 GTS, 360 Spider, 355 Spider) and spouses are planning a trip through New England. I am looking for advice on the best routing. We have reserved a hotel in North Conway, NH.

The plan for the way there is as follows:

    https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=212144630660379537451.0004ddc9966d48c0f90dc&msa=0

Please feel free to make suggestions as to how to better exploit driving roads through New England.

Also a luminary plan on the return trip:

(thinking of driving down to Bar Harbor for the night though)

    Thanks in advance.

Looks good generally. From North Conway, at a minimum, I'd take 302 North out of town, and take "Bear Notch Rd" to the Kancamagus (Rt 112). Alternative East/West routes: Rt 302 through Crawford Notch, to Rt 3 to I-93 South through Franconia Notch. Or take Rt 16 due North out of North Conway, past Mount Washington, up to Gorham, and then Rt 2 to Rt 115, OR Continue on Rt 16 North through Berlin, and up to Rt 26 West. That takes you through Dixville Notch, into Colebrook; cross the CT River, and come south on Rt 102 in Vermont.

In Vermont, if you get a chance, Rt 73 and Rt 125 are both awesome.

    Enjoy!

Sorry I can't offer scenic routes, AAA might have a suggestion or two.
The potential of this thread is great. It sounds like a fun trip, take plenty of photos to fill up your thread here.

Hurricane Mountain rd. is only a short distance from Bear Notch and is an awesome experience. You must be careful in low cars though.

Its a bit south of your route, but Newport RI has excellent sights and a great drive called "Ocean drive"
