Sounds great but thats quite a broad request.

Can someone plan my holiday for me ;)

Can you be a bit more specific?
    Which countries, when..etc etc

I'm sorry I didn't want to appear as a lazy "plan my holiday for me character", and you're right I should explain further.
I live in Central America and Im planning to buy a 599 with the idea to use it in Europe for a couple of years, My most urgent need at the moment is to find out about storage facilities in different european countries in the continent to asses the feasability of this project, that would be my first question; do any of you guys know about first rate storage facilities in France, Germany, spain, portugal, greece?

I would appreciate any help in this matter

    best regards

    No worries Maximus.

I think almost any dealer here in europe can store for you. I know Foitek in Zürich strores cars for customers who are often abroad as does the Ferrari dealer in Pistoia in Italy. I don't know of any specific companies that store and deliver cars for clients here in Switzerland.

Regarding your trip, are you planning on doing one big road trip through the whole of europe. Leaving your car at the next new town and returning there when you start travelling again? Or are you planning on having a base in the center of europe, travelling to different parts each time you visit but returning to you base at the end of each visit?

Either way there are places you will have to visit with great roads. Spain, France Italy and Switzerland especially. As well as all the usual tourist sites. Paris, Monaco, Berlin, Barcelona, London, Geneva, Milan, Florence etc.

When will you take delivery of the 599?

I'd suggest Prague - beautiful city!

And if you happen to stray off to Poland by any chance I'd be more than delighted to keep an eye on your precious ;)

    Menoy:
I drove from munich to Prague about two years ago and they wouldn't rent me a good car because since they're out of the E.C they steal the cars, is this situation persisten in prague still?.

To be honest I'm not informed on the situation of car theft in Prague. I'm very surprised by what you wrote though, even if the Czech Rep. wasn't in the EU then (which they are in now). From what I've heard and seen though there seems to be a fair share of exotics in Prague, so it can't be that bad. I mean if a Maserati MC12 has been seen there then I'm sure there's a safe enough place to keep an exotic there. I do know its beautiful city though.. loved it every time I went (3x).

I saw some beautiful cars when I went there but the license plates were local, the troble was for EC plates. It seems is better now I will check on going there as well

shouldn't be that bad now. i know very well prague's lamborghini dealership staff and i didn't hear about any problems with the cars being stolen.

apart from the MC12 there's also a pagani zonda, and up to 25 lamborghinis (mostly up to 5 years old) and should be around the same of ferraris

    Agreed Marek,

I lived & worked in Prague for almost a decade and had my 328GTS there for a couple of years as well. To be honest, I am more concerned about car security in the UK than I ever was in Central Europe. I've heard this car rental business before and think it's nonsense!

I had the only 328 in the Czech Republic and took it to Poland frequently. Magnificent roads, great driving and no hassles.

I have no experience of storing cars on mainland Europe. However, if anyone is looking to store a Ferrari in the UK, I do have a good recommendation.

Advice on storing a car in Germany: AVOID Auto Koenig in Munich like the plague. Trust me....

    Cheers, MARK
