I am having some options added to my vehicle, only carbon fibre pieces. During requesting pricing etc I was also told this does not affect my Ferrari dealer warranty, resale back to official Ferrari dealer or CPO status for new purchaser.
However, when coming to sell the vehicle the pictures will show a different spec / additional carbon fibre pieces than what is stated on the plaque. I then asked if this can be changed and have been told by a UK dealer that it can. I am at early stages, my car is in for a service and some minor work. When done I will order the carbon fibre pieces and I have requested for more information about changing the options on the plaque to match the new options. So far I have been told it will take some time to find out as this can only be done through Italy. It will then take a few months to complete and get a new plaque.

I'm just letting people know as I was unaware this could be done and will update here as it happens but this will take time.

I would also like to know if anyone else has been through this process and if anyone has any better information or timescales or even costs! I am expecting it to be expensive, so far I am estimating it will cost £2000 / $2650 to complete. Hoping I am way out and it costs much less but i'd rather over estimate than get a scare! I would be surprised if it was much less in reality. I expect the parts need to be added to the car first, the dealer update the spec on the computer against the car, then a new plaque ordered.

Anyone with any additional info that has been through this would be great.

I have posted this in the wrong section and should be in 'Ferrari Discussion (not model specific)' section. Can I have this moved? Or should I just repost? Do I report my own thread and ask for it to be moved?

I'm pretty sure the plaque is supposed to be the car as it left the factory and previously others have mentioned here not being able to get a replacement even in the event of damage let alone to include dealer fit options - I wouldn't set my heart on the dealer being able to sort it
