    With the driving season over here in the Northest, the BB is up for some Winter TLC which always includes inspection of the fuel lines and "fuel tank to cross-over tube". Although all of these compnents were replaced five years ago at the last major service, they didn't look so great this time around. Fact or fiction; the ethanol component in the fuel does appear to adversely affect the life of the fuel lines, particularly those at the fuel pumps...

    As the OEM plastic fuel line "T" and "Y" fitting were severly discolored, I thought it would be prudent to replace them. As fate would have it, they were on "back-order" from Ferrari...After a lengthy bit of web searching, I found a vendor that could provide them in stainless steel and in the correct size for the 8mm fuel lines. Unfortunately, the return line fitting at the 7-9 carb, which is 8mm-8mm-8mm could not be supplied (currently)...If there's enough interest, I'll have these made, as well in quantity.

    Here's a photo of the new fittings, which should never break! This is a godsend for all 365bb, bb512 and carbed 308 owners...
