anyone know if anyone else is making plate clips?
The best I came up with is from Bigmikesperformanceparts.com. I just installed it on my Mondial. He was great to work with on a custom order, as mine wasn't listed. I've tried many times to get a hold of the plate clips people. Don't think anyone is taking over for the unfortunate passing there.
Cool, thank you for posting ...... they look pretty functional ..... who is making or planning on making these? I would probably spread the load out a bit more .... maybe triangulate onto other vanes or venture to the under tray forward attachment points ....... gotta make them handle mid 3 digit MPH ..... with minimal to no stress to the mounting points on the car ..... ..... but then again ..... I have a few other projects that need 'doing' .....
They're great! I have the early ones he made for my 550 and F355 Challenge. The clips are felt-lined and won't mar the grill slats. The spring-loaded "fingers" that secure the clip to the back of the slat (you turn them 90 degrees to secure or release) have rubberized coatings, again to protect the finish on the slat.
