After a good weekend of drinking i dusted off my sticks and played in a golf tournament yesterday with my 2 brothers. Was a scramble and we shot 60 (-12 under par). I almost double eagled a par 5 missing by about 4 ft. I was happy for my first time out. We took home $1800 worth of cash and prizes. Imagine if i practiced again LOL!

Hackensack is a nice track, Guys it was a scramble so 60 is really good, but it doesn't mean that i did it all myself. Team effort. next closest team had 2 teaching pro's on it and they were 64.

OH By the way? anyone want a great deal on a Ping ISI 8.5 degree driver? :) we won 3 of them

I used to like golf until i realized it was different from bowling and that a 300 actually ISN'T a good score. Back to the driving range.

Perhaps when I get a Rolls Phantom, I'll have need for a driver. But for now, I'll drive the 308, thanks.

Ten yards? Your relegating me to the woman's Tees for such a minor offense?! How about just 4 strokes instead? Ya know... Intake, Compression, Combustion, Exhaust?

I can agree with you on that one. I could not get a score like that if my life depended on it.

I got the insider info on Trump National here in NJ.

I played with a prominent pro here in NJ this week, and he has been there and played a few holes. (It's not open yet.)

I shall quote him directly: "They could have a U.S. Open there TOMORROW. That's how good the course is." And of course, because of his ego, this is Trump's ultimate goal.

While this pro was playing, he said Trump flew in on his chopper and got out with about 8 lackeys scurrying behind him. haha :) It must be hell working for that guy. Actually, just as an example: the course isn't open yet, and Trump is already on his third superintendent.

When all is said and done, it's going to be 36 holes, with lots of other facilities (equestrian, skeet and trap, pool, tennis.) The annual membership, once all 36 holes are open, is going to be... actually, let's make this interesting; anyone want to guess what annual dues are?
