The "corsa" is just short for cambiocorsa which translates to "race-change"; these have the electro-hydraulic F1 style shifter, more or less from Ferrari. The GranSport is the hotted-up version which only comes with the CC shifter (no manual), 10 added hp through hand-match of engine internals and port -matched heads, upgraded ECU for the shift and skyhook suspension, Carbon Fiber seat shells, bright-tex seat inserts, bigger wheels and it's lowered 10mm. I'm sure I've forgotten something, so gentlemen please help.

Also, they have a unique to them center console which is closer to Ferrari style than other Maserati. And external front splitter and rear spoiler as well.

Thanks that cleared it up a bit. So the corsa cp is the same as the cambiocorsa cp? And the gransport is to the cambiocosa cp/ corsa cp what the CS is to the modena?

That's a fair approximation, only Maserati doesn't remove sound insulation like on the CS'. They are a more gentlemanly vehicle in concept. You could get the regular seats, I'm guessing, with GS but that may be considered by some as pointless. But you don't have to get the marginal, in my opinion, Bright-Tex seat inserts. I believe actually that Maserati is more consumer oriented than Ferrari in philosophy. Similar to Aston Martin.
