Sometimes the spark is not strong enough. Where did you spray the starting fluid ?

Is this a K-Jet system ? Can you do a compression check ?

So you pressed the air vane down and sprayed inside the FD ? That's what you need to do. If she doesn't start with the starting fluid, it must be spark, or compression. Not likely that both timing belts would fail at the same time. If a timing belt failed, you would still have one bank running.

Make sure plugs are clean. Clean with a torch. Then spray lots of starting fluid into the FD. Check the plugs to see if they're getting wet.

2, the one on the fuel distributor. You can also just jump the fuel pump relay.

    1. Peel back the rubber boot
    2. Insert a pin removal tool (2 prong) from the front
    3. Use a pair of needle nose to grab the wire from back and push toward the tool until there is a slight click which tells you the retaining tabs have been pushed in
    4. Pull the wire out with the pin

    Throw the pins away.

1 of 3 times, I have to cut the wires off the connector, and drive the pins out in a destructive fashion. Then use new pins .

I think it’s correct that he has the two wires as I compared it to my 84 QV and it’s exactly the same.

I would repin that connector. Pin removal tool, double crimp tool, boots and pins are available online and from Scuderia Rampante.
