I dropped a coin in the 12V cigarette lighter power outlet and shorted out the fuse. It must be on the same circuit as my dash lights because they went out too. I have a 1990 348. Where is the fuse panel for this circuit? I checked the fuses under the hood by the left front tire, but none of them are blown... Your help is appreciated.

    Thanks

I have a 355 (and the 348 is likely the same) and the fuse panel is located in the passenger foot well on the front firewall behind the hinged vertical rubber pad (2 screws hold it).
If you can't find it I will post photos

The post above is correct, there is another fuse/relay panel behind the carpet in the right foot well. This is known as the "step pad fuse box". There is a diagram on the cover plate showing the function of the various fuses. In your case, it shouldn't actually be the fuse for the cigarette lighter (#1), but fuse #10, which is the third from the left on the upper row, which protects the instrument lighting. When you dropped the coin into the socket, it shorted out against the contacts for the lighter light, not the lighter itself. At least I think that's what you'll find.
