please help: friend's ex wife is putting him through the wringer

I just got off the phone with a very good friend of mine, an absolute saint of a man, the best man at my wedding... whose ex wife is putting him through financial hell, and the judge is absolutely ruling in the ex-wife's favor regarding all things financial.

Here's the quick facts:
Both reside in CA
Two kids, ages 13 and 11
They've been divorced for ~5 yrs I believe
He has 32% custody (moved closer to where the ex-wife had moved so he can see his kids more)
His ex-wife has remarried, and her new husband works
Ex-wife refuses to work
He makes in the low $100K/yr
He is unable to get full custody of the kids

Other than what he pays for rent + bills + what he can put into his 401K, the remainder all goes to his ex... and she is constantly trying to squeeze him for more. The judge always rules in her favor, he is forced to pay, and pay, and pay, and pay, and pay... for every little activity, expense, etc.

She has got to be pocketing a vast majority of it, because the kids come over and they've still got old clothes, old shoes, etc... and he has to pay up.

I won't go into the brutal details-- those of you who have been there already know them-- so I'm just hoping the Fchat community might have some input.

Does anyone know a great attorney and/or other resources that I can pass on to him?
