Please include in your survey results (which we do want to see) that some communities are touchy about new users that post the same thing multiple times. That says to us that the new user is primarily interested in *their* message and not in *our* community, since they haven't made the effort to understand or research our community. Please refrain from doing that again here. Thanks.

Regarding SurveyMonkey.com, it is a very popular online survey site. I use it all the time.

Not the best looking, but it works great.

I'd say cut the kid some slack and invest 7 minutes, which is less time than most spend on the "pretty girls of" posts....

 

The community here might cut you some more slack once your post count goes up a bit.

Back-up your work and often. My computer died 3 weeks prior to me finishing mine. I was lucky in being able to retrieve my most recent work at the time.

Hmm, I have never heard of a thesis that was required for a Master's degree. I did do a thesis for my doctorate.

I'd like to know how a professor would accept such an unscientific survey result (an internet message board)?

And I have never heard of international management. Isn't that the same as a Management degree?

Why do you capitalize a city (Milano, we spell it Milan) while not using caps for a University (Bocconi Univ.) and Italian? Why use the caps lock key for online communities? You are in a Master's program?

 

European Master's degree requires writing a thesis (takes about half a year)... Bachelor degree as well.

Hm, what's wrong with "International Management"? I don't know about the situation in the US, but over here it's very common that universities offer a differentiated set of courses of studies.

 

Management has the same theories and deployments regardless of what part of the globe it will be applied. It is the process of leading and directing all or part of an organization, often a business, through the deployment and application of resources (human, financial, material or intellectual). It's the same in France, Germany, and the U.S.

In order to seek a scientific survey, one should pursue a specific sub-section of respondents. In this example, I would seek "managers" rather than "Ferrari owners".

 

It's of course not the managemet itself that varies, it's the way it's being taught. Like I said, over here it's common to have courses that focus on certain aspects of, like here, management.
