Please help welcome famed designer Tom Tjaarda to ICF. He arrives Thurs. Sept. 7, 06

You are invited to participate in a motorcade of Italian cars for the arrival of Tom Tjaarda upon his arrival.


Famed designer Tom Tjaarda will begin his first- and perhaps only- visit to Texas Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006. He will be Honored Guest at ItalianCarFest Weekend in Grapevine, Texas.

He is scheduled to land at 3 p.m. at DFW Airport after traveling for 15 hours from his home in Turin, Italy.

Enthusiasts are invited to assemble at the restaurant 'Love & War in Texas' at 2505 E. Grapevine Mills Circle, Grapevine at 3 p.m. The restaurant is large and can accommodate a large group. An area in the parking lot will be cordoned off for Italian cars, scooters and motorcycles.

With the thought that Mr. Tjaarda might be hungry, when he arrives he might join his fans for a bite. If he is tired from his trip, the motorcade will immediately begin.

The motorcade will travel from the restaurant the short distance to the Gaylord Texan Resort.
