Please keep my family in your thought and prayers this weekend. My father-in law has Parkinsons and went for a routine cat scan a few months ago, and it showed he had a small tumor on the brian, this week was the three month point and they wanted to do another one do see if it had changed, it hasn't and is still there, yesterday they wanted to do a biopsy of it to see if it is cancerous, after doing the biopsy, he developed bleeding in the brain and a it formed a blotclot, they rushed him in and did emergency brain surgery and removed the clot. he never woke up last night, and the doctor met with us this morning and said it is serious and that he is not showing any signs of movement on his left side, (he is periodically moving his right arm, which is a GREAT sign) the doctor said he could be in NICU for up to two weeks. We are hoping and prayer that he wakes uo soon, becuase only then will they know the full extent of the damage and if any is permenate. He said he diffenately has damage we just don't know how much and how serious. My wife is their only child, and they are all really close, so it's been hard on everyone, so if you will please remember us in your thoughts and prayers this weekend. (kinda puts everything into perspective and gives you a life check....) Thanks guys, John Perry
Just finished a prayer for your family. Having lost my wife's father about a month ago, I understand how difficult it is to minister to one's wife. However, with God, all things are possible. Love, faith, trust, kindness and above all presence is all I had to offer. But, with God, it was all that was needed. I will pray for you and your family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family for a speedy recovery through these tough times.
I can't say I know what it's like, but can only imagine. Hang in and may God bless your entire family.
Good luck John. Parkinsons is no fun. I watched my fit and life loving Nana wither away to nothing due to that disease. May your father inlaw travel a better path. Pete
