I see your point, but I don't really see all that many duplicates. They're just focused on different facets of the weekend.

1) Minardi's publicity stunt
2) Qualifying (admittedly, there's 1 extra thread there with 1 post in it)
3) Where can I see the race information since I can't see it on TV
4) The race results
5) A few threads not directly associated with the race, such as driver and car discussions.

Thank goodness there's not a bunch of dup threads. Brian usually does a good job of keeping that all in check.

 

Agreed. I'd rather see different topics about the same GP in different threads... rather than one big thread with lots of different stuff mixed in. Some may not care to debate anything about Minardi... discussions of qualifying are very different than discussions of the race.... and so on.

In contrast, I'd like to applaud the group... normally, I have to merge a half dozen threads all reporting the same results... people have been very good at picking an appropriate thread so far. Thanks!
