Need your input. Please see the attached photo. The switch is located at the extreme left side of the dashboard, just under the lip. Trying to determine what it might control. Does any other Ghibli owner have this switch? It shows 12 volts flowing through it but when flipped, nothing operates. When I had the dash top removed, the two black wires disappear into the wrapped main wiring harness, which leads me to believe it might be factory-installed.

Do you have the build sheet? Does it show any options such as fog lights?

Unfortunately, no. No mention on the shipping notice, either. No holes in the bumper where fog lights might have been installed.

The fog lights were installed behind the grill mesh. Most Ghibli were prewired for the fog lights although few had the option installed by the factory. Behind the grill mesh you should see tapped wires on both sides on the brackets that hold the fog lights.

Your switch looks original. Use an electronic wire tracer to see where the wired go.
