That looks pretty close - closer than anything that I was able to find last night.

Is there nothing on the base of the model?

T43, I think it is a Western. Seem to recall they did one, or a Wills Finecast (I'm old, they predated Western)

A company called Auto Replicas did one in 1/24:

Nothing that is legible. I am thinking Western or Wills myself.

copy the link into Google and it works that way - it should be the only hit that comes up.

Wills Finecast became South East Finecast at some point and the Bugatti is not in their current catalog.

I think you are correct, Auto Replicas did the kit, then the folks at L'Orangerie Moderne did the assembly. Now I am not so sure I want to get rid of this.

L'Orangerie did beautiful work in 1/43. I had one of their Bugatti models years ago so I am sure that your model is worth hanging on to.

Soooooooooooooo difficult. I will be living in an apartment for 2-3 years, no room for anything.

L'Orangerie's shop was always a highlight to my visit to Versailles. Sure the palace was nice, but to a Bugatti afficianado, LO was better.

Such a dilema. I will sleep on it after I have a vodka martini.
