Or else just please tell me that I have hallicinated this all up: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21744831/ This seems to say the Cowboys vs the Packers is on Nov 29 (NOT Thanksgiving Thursday the 22) and that "only subscribers to the paid NFLnetwork will be able to see"... SAYYY WHHATTT? No regular networks, or ESPN? I have some limited HDTV, but I don't even know if this is an authorized channel for me.
Nope - Time/Warner Cable...just basic Digital/limited HD package. I will look tonight to see if it is authorized. Many of the channels over 100 just give me the "Not Authorized" box. I don't get this - is it a blatant attempt by the NFL to force people onto NFL Network?
Per the Cowboy's own site, this will be broadcast in the Dallas area on KDFI channel 27 http://dallascowboys.com/schedule.cfm The Thanksgiving game is against the Jets
I bought the NFL Network just to make sure I get the 2 Cowboys games it broadcasts and the G-Men/Pats.
I believe the Network was asking for ESPN money with some of networks. For eight games a year, basically, seems like the NFL went into thinking it could force consumers hands and such. I don't like where the NFL is heading. I know it's a business, but it's a different kind of business. With the tax money they receive as well for 9-days-a-year billion dollar stadiums, makes it puke.
