I only post this on the Ferrari Forum because my goal in life was always to buy a Ferrari before my dad passed. When I was little, I used to play the Need for Speed games. I knew nothing about cars other than I liked the red ones. I was driving a ferrari one day while my dad was watching. I remember him saying, "wow thats a Ferrari! Those are the best cars." And it was at that point I fell in love with the brand. About 6 months ago, at the age of 30, I bought a Ferrari Testarossa, 1987. Its three years older than me, but its my dream car. Im just an RN, but I worked hard and saved. I was able to give my dad three rides in it. He was so proud of me. On August 29th, he suffered a major heart attack and died. Im asking anyone who sees this to send positive vibes or prayers my way. I wish he could have rode with me more. I plan on keeping his ashes in my glove box.

Hi there. That’s an amazing story and I am so glad you were able to purchase the Testarossa, an unbelievable car with Enzo’s fingerprints on it. And I am so happy that your dad had the opportunity to ride in it with you. You deserve that Ferrari and should be very proud of how hard you worked and I know your father is very proud of you as well. Best wishes to you and your family.

My father recently suffered several strokes and it was the RN’s at the hospital who were so compassionate and caring that made all the difference. Thank you for choosing the noblest of professions and for being an RN and for the work you do each and everyday. If you are ever in the Washington DC area feel free to reach out and send me a PM.

Your dad got more rides in a Testarossa than most of us have, me included.
Good for him to see your success. Good for you to be able to share it with him.
I'm sorry for your loss, but IMO, (as a dad), you scored a home run with yours.
    Keep the good memory close.
