hi guy my name is adamo and I live in Toronto . As you're aware the weather really gets cold here but we dont get that much snow. So here is the situation -a few days ago I went to the gym and it got so cold that the door would not open and close.. and if it doesnt close the car wont go... so what I did is I put it in gear one quickly and pressed on the gas. It got me to my house and the doors are working right now however when I turned off the car I forgot to put it back in neutral , so When I went back today to start my 360 it would not move from gear 1..so therefore I can't start it ..I tryed putting it back to neutral and it woudln't go.. I even restarted the car.. it woudn't move... could it be the real cold weather , what should I do? please help.
If I understand your post correctly your car is in first gear and won't go into neutral so it won't start. If you have the F1 transmission, press down on the *brake* pedal hard while you pull back on the paddles. That should put it into neutral. Try that and report back -Jim
please see the "warming up the car in the winter" thread Seems like Ferrari didn't really design these cars to drive in cold weather
