    A skilled locksmith should be able to open your car door. The cost shouldn't be more than the cost of opening any standard lock. I have been locked out of my car and had the door opened immediately by a tow truck guy with the same equipment used by repo guys and car jackers. The cost--$50.00. You might try one of those options so you don't have to wait until the new key arrives.
