Question, Just purchased a new set of plug wires from Rutlands that are prenumbered 1-4 for both banks. On the rear bank the number 4 wire is the longest wire or for cylinder number 1 and on the front the numbers are in reverse as the longest wire is designated with a 1.

Before I get started, do these numbers indicate the proper distributor placement?

    Thanks

Nothing like consulting the OM, I found what I was looking for.

You could have cut your costs in half, had you just had your existing wires 'rebuilt' with new cores....the Cavis cap-ends and outer wire tubing can be cleaned and re-used.

    Next time, talk to DaveHelms.

M_A_N_Y times better wire (than OEM) at MUCH less $$$$$. MUCH Less $.

You should be contacting him in about 5-10 years tops.

short answer is yes.... search is your friend on here. With a search you also would have discovered that OEM is not always the best solution. Not to mention the cost.... Taylor wires work very well. As suggested, you couldn't go wrong contacting Dave Helms. I'd even consider ebaying those wires to get a more cost effective (and better) solution from Dave.
