Years ago I bought this model for my boys to build when they were old enough.
The years passed and video games were more attractive to their generation so I have this untouched model set ready to go to someone new.

Any interest among collectors here before it goes to eBay?

The F40 model is a piece of cake to build, just as long as you follow the sequence of assembly. Plus, the variety of transkits presently available make it more attractive to build. I built mine in 1994 and would rather start with a fresh kit than try to retro-fit pieces. Good opportunity here, boys!

Attached are pictures of my F40 model and a couple of REAL, old-school Pochers that my dad built. The chain-driven 1903 Grand Prix FIAT is pretty straight-forward to build except that you have to build the chain (x2) link-by-link. Real wood artillery wheels would be awesome!

The Mercedes 540K has six wire wheels (two spares). You lace them up spoke-by-spoke.

Thankfully, the Alfa only has four wire wheels. People are amazed to see the pistons moving in the cylinders when you turn the crank. Pocher drew the line at an operational valvetrain.

I don't know how many hours it took my dad to build the three. We still have a few unassembled kits, mostly Rolls and Alfas. eBay is a good source to find completed models, unassembled kits and trans-kits.
