Very nice! Superb work!
Looks stunning. Keep up the great work. I am in the market for a K55 Pocher F40 Pocher kit + Autograph transkit. PM if you know of one or have one for sale. Thanks.
For me one set is enough Best thing is to observe ebay world wide: F40 kits are offered on a daily basis and now and than the TK ( first generation mostly) passes by
As has now been said many times: WOW! Positively inspirational - I'm about to go and clear off the build bench! Another Q: How much additional "work" does the transkit add to the build? [In percentage or hour terms.] - I've looked at 'em before but haven't (yet) got anything "worthy" of the expense and/or effort..... Cheers, Ian
Hi Ian, I have build several out of the box in an average of 36 hours. My counter stopped last week at 628 hours so the "added value" of the transkit is more than 600 hours. At scaleautoworks.com you can buy it for $1800 so that is $ 3 an hour ...I know very normal hobbies which have a much higher hour rate But it is not a model for the faint of heart ! About three hundred have been sold .....a few have been finished. But when it is finished it is a real gem!
just staggering. What a masterpiece. Put in a few drops of fuel, and it will probably actually run as well!
Ya know, I have one of these kits (The Pocher Kit k55) that has never been opened. The box is still sealed in the shrink wrap. How many kits do you think exist like this? Is it worth anything? Will it be worth anything in the future? I don't want to sell it, as someday I might want to try to build it. I was just wondering...
H-o-l-y c-r-a-p!...... My previous "wow!" just went to another level!..... I was guessing maybe double, triple the time but am *really* glad I asked before making a fool of myself Thanks for the response and the "justification" [I can't remember the last thing I did that cost less than $3 per hour!] Just stunning! Cheers, Ian
I'm sure those much more knowledgeable than me will jump in on the "value" question. Are you an "experienced" model builder? [With apologies if I've missed your posts on the subject!] - Pocher (even without any transkits!) are not for the faint of heart and I fear you could get disgusted with it, the instructions and yourself in short order...... Cheers, Ian
Thanks guys for all the compliments...these drag you through the hours Enzo thousands have been produced. Current price $600,700 unbuild and the future....on the moment prizes are dropping ...but they get rarer and rarer ...so who knows
