Driven what i thought were all the pocono configurations since 1999. Until today. Hooked on driving put together a fantastic combo using the nascar 1 and 2 corners with the typical north infield AND a big, new south and east infield. Drives like a mini nurburgring. Lap times around 3 minutes. There is a youtube video of it

No one else runs it that i know of and i believe they are there again in early july. Highly recommend it.

Is the bump still really bad between infield/NASCAR? I remember the transition was a bit rough several years ago when I ran it with Bertil Roos because of newly installed safety barriers.

Devils elbow? Fix it recently so fine in street car but maybe rough in race car. New infield is great though

Drove it two years ago via SCCA and it wasn't too bad, however the corner leading onto the back straight was very slow and the transition wasn't smooth. I did
enjoy the corners leading onto the front straight as we we're able to take those flat with plenty of track out to the wall.

they should run a course using all three nascar turns and only the new infield coming off of turn 1. that would be a great one but haven't heard of anyone doing it yet. I don't think the 2nd infield is really necessary

Good to hear! I remember it was a wild ride over that transition in a FF!

I would love to run it again sometime soon in this new configuration.

here it is, sorry about the pic quality.
I agree with spiderman, the track was fantastic, all the transitions were acceptable with no scraping bodywork at speed. My car is very low, CH front bumper & spliter, no issues except that I have never used so much fuel on track... I would not hesitate to do that configuration again. Hope to see some more F cars out there, it was just the two of us.
