    That was by the company that provided the jbs to the White House...

    He used them to quit smoking, and they became a fixture in his office, on the desk...the story goes that all high level cabinet meetings would begin with the jar going 'round the table!

    The company sales went thru the roof........HTH

    I took a lesson from RR and his jelly bean jar. I keep an M&M jar on my desk, and it's amazing what you get from the people that work for you when they just stop by because they need some M&M's. Some of the most valuable conversations I've had have been because of the candy in that jar. It's also a great way to calm people down. They come to your office fuming, and the first thing you say is "Have an M&M".
