One of the great 80's rock bands. I'm 16, and me and my dad are going to go see them in concert during the summer and the Kansas State Fair I think. So I was wondering if anyone had seen them before and could give me feedback on what there like live. I know Bret Michael because I watch Rock of Love, and Rikki Rocket is the drummer, and CC Deville is a guitarist but thats all I know. I know some of their songs too. Any information is good information.

    This thread is hilarious.

Just make sure you keep at least 7-10ft between you and your dad when they play "Every Rose" and the other ballads. ;)

I saw Poison live in concert at the Colorado State Fair in 2003 and their live show then sucked hard core. They were totally washed up. I think that Poison's problem is that they didn't spend a lot of time being a garage band, or a touring band playing a lot of live shows cutting their teeth with a live audience in the beginning of the band's history. Poison made it big pretty quick, and as a result they are more of slickly produced, edited band that sounds better recorded than they do live. Don't get me wrong, Poison has some '80's glam-rock legendary songs, but I would save the $40 on Poison tickets and rather just listen to them on CD.

A show that you absolutely must see live before you die is AC/DC! Talk about a great live show! You will never want to listen to AC/DC recorded again after you hear them live. Def Leppard is another great live show and watching Rick Allen play the drums is a sight to behold!

AC/DC is indeed one of the best live bands...as is the Scorpions. All those bands from the 70s that played bars for years before they ever got a break.

I recently saw Queensryche and boy did they suck live.

Seeing AC/DC live would be awesome if the band would decide when & where to do it. They've been talking about another tour, but last I heard, Angus put it off due to personal problems.

Has anyone seen Eric Burdon of the 'Animals' lately? I saw him recently performing on a PBS station, and it was sad!

Has-been 'Rockers' trying to reinvent themselves just doesn't seem to work. Guess that's why Brett is doing so-called reality shows, and appearing in local bars!

Yeah, Poison was hot, now they're not!!

I agree AC/DC was one of the best live shows I ever saw. I also saw Poison, but that was 15 years ago. From what I remember, they were pretty good live.....but, who knows now. I have to tell you, I saw Def Leppard and I thought it was boring as hell.....or as Kid Rock's character in Joe Dirt said..."Def Leppard sucks". ; )

Rush's Show is freaking amazing. I've seen Def Leppard twice and would see them again. I've seen Rush 3 times and will see them everytime they come to town. I saw Aerosmith twice and don't care to see them again. Good show just didn't do anything for me. If Pink Floyd ever tours again or if David Gilmore decides to tour again that's a must see. I'd fly to another country to see Pink Floyd LOL. Poison, eh when I was 15 I thought they were good. I wouldn't touch them now. Oh and Definately see AC/DC and U2 ... amazing shows

I saw Poison last summer, as the closer on a Saturday night for Rocklahoma, and they were great! People are sometimes surprised to learn that CC DeVille beat out Slash (G'n'R) for the position in Poison. The boy can play.

Yup, news said he was still in jail on Monday and they could'nt figure out why he had'nt bonded out yet....With all due respect I would'nt want an 80's hair band drummers pecker anywhere near me either, I can't imagine the dirty places that thing has been.:(
