Poker Run / NJ

The poker run is a car rally that starts in Whippany NJ. Each participant will make five local stops on the way down to Pt. Pleasant NJ. We will all park together in a lot near the boardwalk and then proceed to Martell’s Tiki Bar.

All makes and models are welcome. ( We expect between 60-70 exotics, luxury and muscle cars)

Cost is $50.00 per poker hand. Best poker hand gets ½ of the total pot.

Why do the poker run? Wouldn’t you want to roll up to the shore with 60+ exotic cars?

How long is the total event? Does everyone return together or on their own?

 

Here is the breakdown;

11:00 am drivers meeting and introductions

11:20 - police escort onto rt 10

11:30 - arrive at J&R cigar for samples and second poker card

12:10- cars start arriving at Liberty State Park to collect third poker card.

12:45 - cars start arriving at rest stop 121 for fourth poker card. (GSP)

1:15pm - cars arrive in point pleasant


Most people will most likely head back on their own.

Good time today going from Whippany to Jenkinsons Point Pleasant. A lot of nice cars, good turnout, hot day but a lot of fun. Looking forward to the next one. Count me in.

Only a few. But I'll send them to you actually just getting to download camera now. Sun beat the crap out of me. That and my lags are sore from F1 shifting all day. Never realized that before...must be getting old. Please send me any pictures you have. [email protected]. Thanks. Also, there should be videos from the NJ exotic spotters camera guy that was there. I have his card and information if you don't

 

Actually a teaser up on NJ exotic spotters website. Should be really cool when finished. The rep from JR cigars took a bunch of pictures of us. They should have some really good ones. They said they will be up on Facebook page.

Also, at the reststop exit 121, there was a nice guy that approached us in Ferrari that wanted to drive behind us to hear the exhaust....never got chance to do it. Sorry. Next run.

 

During this poker run, there was a Jaguar convertible that was videoing and taking pics. Does anyone know how to get in touch with them? Thanks.
