The correct run order down Church Road:

Tillman (made the initial turn, then dropped to the rear)
    Yoshi (355 B)
    Me (355 GTS)
    Duane (360 Spyder)
    Jim (328 GTS)

This was without a doubt the best leg of the trip. Yoshi did a nice job clearing the path, making beautiful noise along the way. I also saw the cop make the 180 and hit the ditch. She made the turn in front of me then I watched in my rear view mirror as she sat on the side of the road at a funny angle. I couldn't tell if she was stuck or waiting for traffic. From the angle, she looked stuck.

Thanks to Dave and the others who helped make this happen!

so what were the list of stops? Looks like a great run and time.

I was in the Bahamas for a wedding and had to miss the wedding and come back early for a funeral on Sat.

Hey Jim, I really appreciate all the info you gave me on the previous poker runs. It really helped me avoid some of the bumps along the way that I would never have thought of if not for your experiences planning the first two. Sorry to hear your trip was cut short.

I'll talk to you this week, I'm sure, and tell you more about it.

    1. First stop was a "drive thru" stop at a development called "Saddlebrook Estates" near Argyle, TX.

    2. Second stop was a custom motorcycle shop called Western Cycle Works in Justin, Texas.

    3. Third stop was an ice cream shop in Springtown, Texas, on the Springtown Town Square.

I really want to thank Manny for helping us with the first stop, thank you for helping make this possible.

I went over this route back in forth trying to find some better roads due to construction, FM 407 was a section we wanted to use but truthfully I think it all came out for the best. Dave's idea of making FM 3325 longer run was the best idea, the corners & elevation changes were very well worth it. Free, your car is amazing. it was great to talk with you. I was trying to take photos of Yoshi, Rob, & you on FM 3325, the two I posted are the only ones you can make out. Everyone was moving soooo fast!

    BTW Dave,

    Check your Gmail.

I wish I had a sound file of Jano and then the Stradale coming by me as we got on the freeway. Screaming beasts at full howl!!!. Unfortunately ,I chose lanes poorly. but was able to use you guys as a great front door to clean out the left lane. Thanks for the goose bumps!

A new thread needs to be started in the technical section... "What type of race fuel is best for starting bonfires?"

Oh, and I want to see some dancing!

What an awesome event! Kudos to Dave and crew for puttingit together. And much thanks to Nick for letting me ride shotgun. It was a real kick riding with Nick as he took on the black Corvette.

Jim, thanks for the special interest pic. I will show it to Susan to prove that a baby seat really will fit in a Ferrari.:)

    Can't wait until next year.

Yeah, you were. But the fun part I referred to was after you pulled over and let us by! :)

I also had a good time running w/ Rob after the last stop. I'd zoom by him, he'd zoom by me. I love listening to 355's at full shriek. Had an equally fun time listening to Nick and Phil the first legs of the day.

I think my favorite pic of all is Tillmans car at speed with the bridge in the background. It's amazing which pics come out good.

One last thing, nobody mentioned the psycho woman in the silver Merc 320 that sped up when Phil passed her, then smoked her brakes trying to get around all of us at that corner.

Some memorable moments / observations (Tillman I like the hypothetical, I think I will use it)

Hypothetically doing twice the posted speed limit on a certain interstate

Hypothetically doing almost twice the posted speed limit on another certain interstate while Johny Law went past us on the other side(must have had quota for the month)

Seeing some bonehead in a black C5 that was actually driving worse than we were.

Listening to the symphony of the Ansi on the car in front of me and the Tubi out of the back of mine. Who needs a stereo.

Driving by my Aunt's ranch on 35w knowing she is probably cussing me and doesnt know it.

    Thanks again Dave, Awesome Job!

I don't know what is wrong with those crazy Mercedes drivers!! Nick showed great restraint in not flying past her. Unfortunately, that entire road was a double yellow line, so we did not get a chance.
