I'm not sure what the polarity of this ignition coil is.

Used with electronic ignition systems, it's a Marelli BAE201A. Coil terminals are marked "K" and "31". Not sure which one is used for "+" or for "-". I removed the ballast resistor from it quite some time ago (which on one hand, isn't a reference point either, because I've seen in a particular 308 GT4 application, where they placed the ballast on the "+" of the coil... That may have been also done on other Ferrari models too, which I'm not sure of).

My guess: terminal 31 is ground (-), and K is hot (+).

I was thinking that as well. Let me guess, by the "-" symbol in front of the terminal? ;) I just want to make sure though.

At least on a BZR201A coil, they have the one terminal marked off as: "+B" (same position as this terminal "K")...

K is plus and 31 is ground as GT4 Joe already posted but keep in mind that this is for a capacitive ignition setup. THe BAE201A is the default coil for a Dinoplex AEC103 ignition and did not have a ballast resistor attached when leaving the factory. Dino L and early E series owners will be happy to give you some considerable amount of cash for it though.
