    those fat ass cops werent stealing, they were putting the merchandise back on the shelves. part of the clean up.

    Yes, the New Orleans police have always been upstanding citizens and corruption free. This is a horrible breach of their standard conduct.

    In defense of the police, to play devils advocate, there was only 2 cops in there, and how many looters? Did they really have a chance at stopping them?
    Cops are people too and they need food, water, and clothing as well. Even shoes.

    Like they said....looting doesnt rank very high on the list of priorities for the police considering the thousands dead on the street, and more dying each day. So why the hell are these two cops casually strolling around WalMart, watching the looters (to whom they cant do anything to). As it is their duty to serve and protect, I would think there are places and people in the immediate area that they should be helping. Think of the other heroic police officers, firefighters, military, and ordinary citizens for that matter risking their lives for the safety of others....and then you have these two upstanding officers.

    paul your kidding right? these two gals are in uniform wearing SHOES,did they need the multiple pairs of nikes for what the jogging or work out later that day. look at the reaction of the cop with the hat on, she knew she was busted, how can you not see this?
